With Saturn going direct today I thought I would pull a few cards.
Card 1
Page of Cauldrons
Creative beginnings and good news. The card shows an image is of the Goddess Branwen and her animal totem the starling. In the background, you can see a murmuration, a swarm of starlings which represents prosperity, progress, and abundance coming into your life. The fish in her cauldron represents a deep higher consciousness. She is deeply connected to the cauldron as it overflows with power and knowledge. She has a fish in her cauldron. It is contained, unable to swim freely. There is a saying that I was reminded of when I saw this image “Only dead fish go with the flow”. Dead fish have no direction. Notice her dress is made from the ocean’s water. It is sheer. Water represents one’s conscious awareness. Her consciousness is being awakened. We need to be mindfully aware that there is more happening under the surface than you are seeing.
Card 2
Five of Swords
This is a very heavy dark card. Not to scare you but it should be seen as a huge warning to be listened to. It speaks to a situation of injustice and uneasiness. Even as harsh as someone wishing you ill will. You are standing alone in the unknown. Facing betrayal and conflict. The situation you find yourself in right now was not created by your hand. Yikes, see it is crazy heavy… But the crisis will bring on much-needed change. Ask yourself when everything is taken away what will you have left? You will be asked to redefine your beliefs to ensure they still serve your highest good.
Card 3
17 – The Star (reverse)
This card was a jumper. (it flew out of the deck when I was shuffling) It represents inspiration, hope, and provides a sense of calmness. You have enough. You are enough. Because it is in reverse you need to be mindful that you have been depleting your energy. Now is a time to release what no longer serves you and replenish. Fill yourself back up. It is the calm before the storm. Notice the Goddess Brigid Doll lying next to the tree. It is a symbol of Imbolc (Spring). Spring a time of rebirth and renewal. Brigid represents wisdom, invites fertility (growth), and abundance.
Connection Card
Change
Notice the bird connection in the first card the birds in this card. You can’t stop change. Be accepting of change. Use this time of change in the seasons, Fall, to release what no longer serves you. Use the darkness of the longer nights to sit with your inner child and dialogue to move towards healing and growth. Ride the wave of energy instead of pushing against it. Even if you don’t understand why something is happening you need to look beneath the surface to see the light.
